A PARADE of 200 Cadets and staff from Sea Cadet units marched through Burnham on Sunday in celebration of Trafalgar Day.
The units strode from Morrison’s car park, along the sea front to St Andrew’s church, where there was a service at 2pm. The Cadets then marched back along the High Street where they gave their salute at the Ritz Cinema.
This was a major event for Burnham as the Trafalgar Day parade rotates around all Sea Cadet units in Somerset and Dorset and only takes place in the town every eight years.
