A BREASTFEEDING support group in Portishead has outgrown its premises.

Café MAMMA, which provides a weekly drop-in café for nursing mums, has moved from its home in Combe Road to the Children's Centre based at the old St Barnabas School building in West Hill.

The group offers encouragement, advice and also has a helpline run by volunteers.

Café MAMMA is open on Tuesday mornings from 10am and gives mums the opportunity to meet new friends and share experiences.

As the group grows, new peer supporters are being trained by community midwives to ensure the level of supporters continues to meet the growing needs of the mums.
