A COUNCILLOR has called on residents to report large lorries speeding through their village.
East Huntspill parish councillor Nigel Litton said he has seen the large vehicles breaking the 30mph limit through the village, as well as using roads not suited to their size.
Mr Litton called on those living in the area to email him directly to help build a catalogue of complaints to take to the police.
He said: “I want to hit this hard to tackle it.
“The one I followed through the village was doing about 40mph.
“If parishioners that are having problems can send that through to me, I can raise that with police.”
Mr Litton asked residents to contact him by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
