PRIME Minister David Cameron has made John Penrose a small business ambassador.
Weston’s MP is one of a dozen selected to promote and represent the views of small firms from across the country.
Mr Penrose, who previously served as tourism minister, said: “I’m delighted to be appointed. We’ve already done a huge amount to help small business, but there is much more to do.
“I will be putting forward the case for small business across Government and, as a former businessman myself, I know we must be on their side and the entrepreneurs who run them, who want to work hard and get on in life.”
