CAMPAIGNERS took their fight to raise awareness of a life-changing illness onto Weston's High Street.

They were increasing awareness of rheumatoid arthritis, and raised £64 in donations which will go towards the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society.

Organiser Dawn Perkins said: “It was a really good day’s work, we managed to let a lot of people know about the illness, and raise some money.

“The next thing we will be doing is a sponsored bag pack at Tesco on November 27, which will be in aid of Weston Area Rheumatoid Matters.”
