A TEAM of young footballers are appealing for help so they can kick off a tour to Portishead's twin town of Den Dungen.Portishead Juniors Football Club under 13s team is planning to go on football tour to The Netherlands in May this year, but desperately needs to raise funds towards the trip's travel costs.This is the first time a local football team has gone to Den Dungen for a tour.Tour organiser Steve Fisher said: "The boys are really excited about going on tour and have already raised money towards the costs by car washing, running at raffle at the Victorian evening and doing a spot the ball competition."The travel costs for the tour are about £2,500 and although we have raised some money, we still need to find some more."Now we are looking for people to sponsor us by donating money to help us with the travel costs and are appealing to the businesses in Portishead to dig deep."Even £50 will help pay for one boy's seat on the coach."If you can help contact Steve or Nancy on 01275 817677.
