A BLEADON woman was among dozens of breast cancer campaigners who took their fight to the top-level last week.
Liz Wiggins and 70 others campaigners took part in the 11th annual Westminster Fly-In to urge MPs and the Government to secure vital improvements in the diagnosis and treatment of the killer disease.
The Breakthrough Campaigns and Advocacy Network member said: “Many of our members have been affected by this terrible disease, either through a family member’s illness or their own personal fight with breast cancer.
“The Westminster Fly-In gives us an incredible opportunity to play a major part in influencing future breast cancer outcomes, over the next parliamentary cycle and further.”
