A CANNABIS factory has been uncovered in Clevedon.

A CANNABIS factory has been uncovered in Clevedon.

On Thursday police raided a property in Cherry Avenue after being given information by the housing association, NSHousing.

Officers seized 33 cannabis plants, which were being grown using hydroponic equipment.

A 43-year-old man is now helping police with their enquiries.

PC Dave Hughes said: "Partner agencies such as North Somerset Housing are instrumental in our efforts to stamp down on drug related crime across the county."
