CARE home residents took an active part in raising awareness of an international health drive on Thursday.
World Health Day takes place this Sunday, encouraging people to focus on health related issues.
Beach Lawns Care Home, in Beach Road, invited friends and family for a packed afternoon of exercise classes, dancing, bowls, exotic fruit tasting and an array of colourful fruit juice cocktails.
Activities leader, Beverley Nicholson said: “World Health Day is a wonderful opportunity to get everyone involved in something a little different with the local community.”
