SANDCASTLES and sea shells filled a care home in Weston as part of a beach-themed open day.
Beach Lawns Residential and Nursing Home in Beach Road put on a Punch and Judy show, a Hawaiian dancing session and served up mouth-watering fish and chips, ice cream and cocktails during the event.
Peter Jay also performed beach-themed songs to residents and guests. The home’s deputy manager Leesa Daniel said: “Our residents and the team at our home love to dress up and especially enjoy seeing new and familiar faces at their events.”
