A Weston care home has put its residents’ artwork on display to celebrate their new-found skill.

Every Thursday an artist has visited Acer House Care Home, in Milton Road, with a number of residents creating a number of different paintings and drawings.

The display is at the Rowan Tree Tea Room at The Old Town Quarry in South Road.

Alexandra Crew, manager of Acer House, told the Mercury: “A lot of the residents have not done any kind of art before.

“It has been a really lovely event and I am so proud of every one of them.”
