FOSTER carers from across North Somerset staged a host of fun activities on the seafront to help raise money for impoverished African children.
The carers sold cakes, ran a tombola and offered face-painting to collect cash for Village By Village, which supports children in Ghana.
Spokesman June MacLeod said: “It’s easy to forget how lucky we are in the UK. Our children are lucky enough to have varied school meals and computers to work on, whereas in Ghana they just have a bowl of rice at lunch and have to share one pencil between five pupils.”
