Dance school puts on 'fantastic' show at The Playhouse

Dance students took to the stage at a Weston-super-Mare theatre to showcase ballet, tap and modern routines.

Carlea Theatre Arts, which runs classes in Weston, Churchill and Locking, held its Dance Into Broadway performance at The Playhouse, in High Street, on Sunday.

Young dancers starred in a number of routines, covering all different styles of dance.

The show also featured a Remembrance Day routine, and adult tap dancers also took part for the second year running.

Organisers Leanne and Carina Watson said: “The students blew us away yet again.

“What a fantastic show and amazing audience. We are so proud of what every student achieved.
