CLEVEDON'S Curzon Cinema has been awarded a cash boost of more than £15,000 by the UK Film Council.The organisation has awarded the picture house £15,250 which will be spent on upgrading the cinema's projection equipment and to install a surround sound system.The cinema is one of 50 across the country which has received cash for improvements.Curzon general manager John Webber said: "We are delighted to receive this cash injection from the UK Film Council."Over our 10 years as a community cinema we have made great strides in ensuring that both sound and projected image are the best they can be. The investment that we and the UK Film Council are now making to this latest improvement will make a huge difference for all our customers.
