Archant

A WESTON group has received a boost to its coffers thanks to a supermarket giant.

Customers at Asda in Winterstoke Road posted their green tokens into the sea cadets’ box in the store.

As the group received the most over the period of a month the supermarket gave it £200.

The fundraising team for Weston Sea Cadets, based in Sunnyside Road North, applied to be one of the company’s nominated charities for December.
