POLICE are on the hunt for cruel youths who shot two cows in the eyes at close range with an air rifle.The shooting happened in a field adjacent to Cowslip Green in Redhill.Two white men, both aged about 19 and of an average build, were seen leaving the field at the time carrying what appeared to be an air rifle in a long black case and one had a 'Mohican-style' haircut.Both animals are still alive and have no permanent injuries.Anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information should call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
