A SONG about Weston is being released to raise money for the rebuilding of the Tropicana.
This Is Weston-super-Mare has been written by singer Ray King, who has been joined by a host of other musicians to work on the track.
The song was produced by Weston musician B Freed at Weston College and Mr King said the aim of the track was to promote the town.
He said: “The musicians recorded for free, it is not meant to be a business, we hardly cover the costs that way but we are happy to contribute for the love of it.
“This project is not about me at all. The tune has been written and recorded solely to be part of a movement, to improve and encourage people and businesses in the area by finding creative ways to promote our unique town.”
Musicians including Paul Raymond, Paul Quinn and John Rackham all took part in recording the single.
