WESTONIANS will be asked how they want the seafront's troubled Tropicana to be redeveloped this summer.Henry Boot Developments will hold a public consultation on the design for its Lifestation@Tropicana project before it submits a planning application to North Somerset Council.The authority has met with the company and urged them to get on with the project and to think again about the design and layout, especially the car park element.Councillor Elfan Ap Rees, responsible for strategic planning, highways and economic development, held the meeting with the firm, which hopes to submit its plans to the council this autumn.A development agreement for the scheme was signed earlier this year. If approved the £25 million development will consist of an indoor leisure pool, hotel, cinema, skate park, bowling alley, restaurants, bars, shops and a children's play area.
