Milton Road Cemetery is welcoming the public from next month

REGULAR opening hours of the newly renovated chapel at Milton Road Cemetery in Weston will begin next month.

The Grade II listed building was repaired with help from the Heritage Lottery Fund and educational material, exhibitions and an audio tour have been created.

The chapel, with the help of Friends of Milton Road Cemetery, will be opened every second Saturday of each month between 1.30-3.30pm.

A photographic exhibition by pupils of Worle Community School is currently on display.

The first date the chapel will be open to the public is February 14 and the audio tour will be launched in the spring.

For more details on the chapel or anyone interested in joining the Friends of Milton Road Cemetery can ring Zoe Clements, Weston Town Council development officer on 01934 632575.
