WESTON Hospicecare is urging people to donate any unwanted Christmas gifts to its shops.
The Uphill-based charity is asking kind-hearted people to hand over any presents to the organisation to help it raise funds in the post-Christmas lull.
Peter Boyer, head of retail, said: βAt the moment we are especially in need of clothes, so if you have hit the sales already and need to make space in your wardrobe for your new purchases please think of us before you throw any unwanted clothes away.β
The organisation is also appealing for people who donate goods to ask about the Gift Aid scheme, which allows the charity to claim back the tax on donations.
