A fun-filled evening raising cash to support an animal charity will be held in Loxton.

One of the leading animal rescue charities in the South West, Secret World Wildlife Centre, is inviting friends, supporters and wildlife-lovers to its largest fundraising event of the year.

BBC broadcaster Mike Dilger will host the auction and ball on behalf of the charity with proceeds going back into it.

This year’s theme is Cirque de Secret World, and the evening is set to include two auctions – one silent – with more than 100 items on sale and a three-course meal.

Guests will be treated to a magic show in between courses and there will be a casino for the adults to enjoy.

After the meal, the dance floor will be open and a David Ford tribute act will entertain the crowd.

The ball is being held on October 13 at the Webbington Hotel in Loxton from 6.30pm.

Tickets, priced £45, are available online at www.secretworld.org
