HUNDREDS of pounds have been raised for the Motor Neurone Disease Association through a charity dinner and a 10k run.

Debbie Stone held a charity dinner at Hussein’s Indian Restaurant in Orchard Street, Weston on Monday, which featured a raffle with prizes donated by a host of businesses from the town such as The Frame Station and Christopher Alan Photography.

Family friend Jack Mansell also ran the Bristol 10k in 48 minutes on Sunday, meaning that between them they had raised £579 for the appeal.
