Guests flocked to a fair in Weston-super-Mare this month, which was rasing money for a boy who needs an operation.

A homemakers spring fair was held at Victoria Methodist Church on April 1.

The event was organised by Carole Kitchen, whose nine-year-old grandson Josh Walters has cerebral palsy and spastic diplegia – and requires a £26,500 operation.

The fair boasted an extensive collection of homeware and ornaments, with proceeds donated to Josh’s fund.

Prize hampers were also given away at the fair, with lucky winners getting their hands on some sweet treats.
