Keira Farnell decided she wanted to shave her hair off for charity because she wants children helped by the Little Princess Trust to feel beautiful again.

The charity makes wigs from donated hair to give to children who have lost their own through cancer treatment and hair loss conditions in the UK and Ireland.

Keira’s mum Hannah said: “I am immensely proud of her.

“I really admired her bravery, selflessness and determination to have it done.”

Keira said: “I’ve wanted to do this for a long time and I wasn’t even nervous.

“I feel so proud of myself for raising lots of money as well as donating my hair to the princess trust.”
