A brave Weston woman took to the skies last weekend to raise money for a special care baby charity, and says she is ‘very proud’ of her achievements.

Kelly Bishop, aged 30, wanted to give something back to Cots For Tots, which is a special care baby charity based at St Michael’s Hospital in Bristol, as many of her friends have used its services.

She said: “I am so proud of myself for completing the skydive.

“It was very nerve wracking to be sat in the plane and see it getting higher and higher, knowing I was going to have to jump out of it, but I just had to go through with it as the charity is so important to me.

“I have friends who have used the charity’s facilities so I know all about the great work it does and this is my way of giving back.

“I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has generously donated.”
