A friendship group has teamed up with a charity to encourage people to have fun together.

The Multicultural Friendship Association (MFA) has joined forces with the Golden-Oldies charity to raise money for a good cause and to get people of different nationalities and backgrounds singing together.

The charity was founded by choir leader Grenville Jones in 2008 and encourages older people to sing, dance and have fun together, and to break free of social isolation which is common with older people.

The MFA welcomed the charity on Tuesday to launch its partnership.

The singalong sessions will be held on the fourth Tuesday of every month from 1.30-4.30pm at Somewhere To Go’s headquarters in Boulevard.

People are asked to make a charitable donation of £2.
