Forty youngsters kept active this summer with a holiday club.
The children gathered at Cheddar Village Hall, in Church Street, for this year’s club which was called Guardians Of Ancora.
Set in a world where many Bible stories have been lost, the children went on a new quest each day to find a Bible story treasure.
Marion Clegg, one of the organisers, said: “Great fun was had in the different quests, singing songs and producing some amazing crafts.
“There were competitive games in the Old Vicarage garden and a drama quest to watch as well as take part in.”
The holiday club is free to all children aged five to 11 and the next one will take place from August 27-31 next year.
The club was organised by St Andrew’s Church, also in Church Street.
The club was set up as a way to connect youngsters with the Bible and keep them active and busy during the long summer holidays.
