A Weston theatre company will make a second attempt at putting on its performance after the first was snowed off.

The Chelis Theatre Company will perform Dick Whittington at a Weston theatre this weekend, almost two months after it was initially meant to premiere.

The traditional story of a boy who arrives in London to seek his fortune will be brought to life.

Helped by the beautiful Alice and his trusty cat, Whittington sails
the seas and defeats the evil Ming to win the day and the girl’s heart.

The group’s exciting interpretation will be packed with well-known and original songs, with plenty of audience participation.

Dick Whittington will be staged twice at the Blakehay Theatre, in Wadham Street, on Saturday afternoon.

The shows are due to begin at 3pm and 7pm.

Tickets, priced £9-11, are available by calling 01934 645493 or online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/blakehaytheatre
