Child rushed to hospital in air ambulance

A child was airlifted to hospital yesterday afternoon (Saturday) in Highbridge.

Ambulances were called to Apex Park, in Marine Drive, after reports of a child who required emergency treatment.

Devon Air Ambulance was called shortly after.

The ambulance hovered above the busy park before landing on a grassy area near the lake.
