CHILDREN at a Portishead school experienced the delights of live theatre with a visit from a touring drama group.

M and M productions entertained at Portishead Primary School, presenting their version of the old folk tale Beauty and the Beast, pantomime style.

Headteacher Mike Scriven said: "Some children rarely experience a live professional production so we would like to thank the Friends of Portishead Primary, who gave all students this wonderful opportunity.

"The parents and friends put a lot of effort into raising funds throughout the year to enhance the children lives at school and this kind of event is always appreciated and enjoyable for everyone.
