CHILDREN from a Weston school did their bit to find food for an appeal helping needy families across the town.

Christ Church Primary School collected a variety of different food for the Weston Foodbank initiative including baked beans, soups, biscuits and rice at its harvest festival held at Christ Church last Thursday.

There was also a special service while Foobank’s Ian Fraser talked to the children about where the food would go.
