The idea of thinking about Christmas in November may put some people off, but the festive crafts on sale on Saturday morning were such that it could make even the coldest hearts melt.

The village hall was full of stalls, with traders selling goodies perfect for any stockings which will be hung up by eager children when Christmas Eve comes around.

Everything from little toys to knitwear was on offer to shoppers.

For those who enjoy the merriment of the season, there were also some lovely hampers up for grabs, which included tasty goodies such as chocolates, bucks fizz and homemade jams.
