Half-term kids chrismas crafts session at Cheddar library.

A fun afternoon of arts and crafts was held at Cheddar Library last week.

Children from one to 10 years old enjoyed a Christmas-themed craft session at the library, in Union Street.

Glitter, card and glue where in high demand for the arty youngsters as they created Christmas cards and tree decorations.

Sue Bathe ran the session, which saw nine children take part.

A library spokesman said: “It was a lovely event for the children and they seemed to have a good time.”

The event was the latest in a series of community activities held at the library.

Book group the Stellar Scribes will hold an author meet-and-greet on December 1 at 2pm.

Local writers Anne Randall, Nikki Copleston, Sonja Price and Jan Ellis will share their journeys from solitary scribbling through to publication.
