A GROUP from Milton Baptist Church has just returned from a cultural exchange in the German city of Hildesheim.

Members of the congregation took part in an exchange with other church-goers from Hildesheim Baptist Church.

The two churches have been twinned for more than 30 years and the latest visit was arranged to coincide with the 1,200th anniversary of when Hildesheim’s first bishop was appointed and its cathedral built.

The group enjoyed a number of sightseeing visits during the stay in the city and were welcomed by the deputy mayor during a reception at the town hall.
