Citizens Advice North Somerset has helped dozens of people at the Weston Jobs Fair.

The charity attended the event at the Winter Gardens alongside dozens of employers, where it gave advice to almost 50 people on a range of issues.

Visitors were spoken to about concerns over tax and pay, employment rights, money advice and childcare.

A spokesman said: “We set up self-help kiosks for people to look up their own information.

“We talked to all the stall-holders about how we might be able to help them, their staff and any new recruits, and we referred a number of people along to our drop-in session at the Badger Centre to get full advice.”

The charity is currently fundraising to move into new premises after North Somerset Council bought the Badger Centre, where it is currently based, to use as a creative hub.
