A WESTON vicar says he is 'saddened' that youngsters are 'abusing' a church's facilities and trampling on people's final resting places.Reverend Geoff Eales, of St Peter's Church, in Baytree Road, Milton, says he has appealed to motorists and their children to stop misusing the site's car park and surrounding areas but the culprits verbally attack him in return.Rev Eales says the church is considering employing a firm of clampers if the chaos continues. He said: "We offer the use of our car park to the community but sadly it seems you give people a yard and they take a mile."Motorists park on grass and flagstones and block in other cars. It is not just the drivers who abuse the car park. Their children swing on our trees, play football and clean their boots in our garden of remembrance."For all they know it may be their grandparents' ashes buried there."It seems there's no respect for anything any more. Grieving families are deeply distressed to find their loved ones' memorials cluttered with mud and rubbish."He added: "We really don't want to have to do it but we just can't afford the repairs to damaged paving and gardens."When we ask motorist to move we get the most appalling abuse.
