A FAMOUS funny man from Weston is reportedly about to divorce his third wife.
National newspapers claim that John Cleese, of Fawlty Towers and Monty Python fame, is apparently splitting from Alyce They, who he has been married to for more than 15 years.
Cleese lives with the 63-year-old American-born psychotherapist in California where they have apparently been living in separate rooms.
The couple, who wed in 1992, both have children from previous marriages but have no children together.
Reports suggest that the comedian has been suffering from 'bouts of melancholy' brought on by the deaths of several friends, which may have contributed to the breakdown in their relationship.
The 69-year-old was previously married to Barbara Trentham, who he divorced in 1990, and Connie Booth, who he married in 1968 and divorced after 10 years.
