A new project, which aims to bring more than 1,000 coaches to Burnham-on-Sea, has been given the go-ahead by Burnham and Highbridge Town Council.

The scheme has been created by Burnham Chamber of Trade and Burnham Information and Rescue Support and was awarded a £2,000 grant to help entice more visitors to the town.

Councillor Andy Brewer said: “To see a projected budget over several years shows very forward-thinking. This proposal is very comprehensive.”
