Coastguard called to dog’s cliff fall

COASTGUARD rescue teams from Weston-super-Mare and Burnham-on-Sea were called to Brean today (Monday) when a dog fell from a cliff.

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service called the coastguard to help with an incident at Brean Fort.

The coastguard was called at 5.50pm and its spokesman said: “The dog fell over the cliff. The fire brigade was able to recover the dog which was safe and well and reunited with its owner.”
