Youngsters have the chance to learn computer programming skills at a new club which will launch in Congresbury next month.
Code Club will host a free taster session at Congresbury Youth Partnership, in Kent Road, on October 1 from 4.30-6pm – offering the chance to learn skills which will be undoubtedly useful in future.
Subsequent sessions will be held every Monday in term time from 3.30-6.30pm, costing £1.50.
A spokesman said: “Code Club is a new opportunity for young people in Congresbury, aimed at people aged eight to 15 who are interested in learning the basics of computer programming.
“Our project can develop coding skills to produce simple games, control models and much more. Volunteer tutors will also help you with the programming language Python, which is taught in our local secondary schools.”
