A COLLISION between a car and a motorcyclist has caused huge tailbacks on the A370.

The collision happened at around 4.20pm on the junction of the A370 and Lympsham Road, with the motorcyclist sustaining injuries which Avon and Somerset Police described as serious but not life-threatening.

Massive queues of stationary traffic have built up on both the southbound and northbound lanes of the road while police and Great Western Ambulance crews attend the scene.
