A CLEANING company has stepped in to offer materials to the RNLI lifeboat station in Burnham.

Trafalgar Automotive Cleaning Chemicals will supply cleaning materials for the lifeboat station’s SOS carwash from January 28 to February 4.

Chris Waller, managing director of Trafalgar said: “The RNLI volunteers do a professional job, so the least I can do is make sure that they do it with professional kit.

“I have been a boat owner in the past and realise how dangerous they can be. The RNLI are a brilliant organisation, completely dependent on voluntary donations and are always on call 24/7.”

Lifeboat operations manager, Ricky Holmes, said: “We are grateful for the support. This year we are raising money to help replace the station lifejackets, so all the funds will go to your local RNLI.”
