BARGAINS will be up for grabs at a village auction next week.

Competitive bidding and good deals are to be had at the event in Wedmore on January 30.

Last year's activity produced a treasure trove of paintings, furniture, fashion accessories, books and the proceeds boosted Wedmore Village Hall's coffers to the tune of £1,200.

The auction, which looks set to become an annual event, will take place between 12noon and 3pm.

Wedmore Village Hall Management Committee is asking for contributions.

Donations of unwanted Christmas presents or any good quality items are welcome.
