DETECTIVES are still searching for two missing teens who ran off while visiting Weston more than two weeks ago.
Ellie Hill, aged 13, and Megan Wintle, aged 16, were on a trip to the resort from their homes in Taunton.
They then ran off from carers on April 24 and despite reports that the pair were in London at some point after this date, they have still not been located.
Police are becoming increasingly concerned for their welfare and are appealing for any information.
Detective Inspector Ian Glover said: “Since Ellie and Megan went missing we have been following up several lines of enquiry to find them.
“I am now appealing for help from the public and would like to hear from anyone who knows where the girls are or where they have been since they went missing.
“We know they have been in the London area so I would particularly appeal to people in the city, and their home town of Taunton, to be vigilant and report any sightings of the girls.”
Ellie is white, 5ft 6inches tall, of medium build and has shoulder-length brown hair.
She has blue eyes, wears braces on her teeth and has scratches on her left arm.
Megan is white, 5ft 5inches tall, of slim build and has shoulder-length brown hair. She has brown eyes and a pieced lip and tongue.
Call police on 0845 456 7000 with any information.
