People living in Congresbury will be able to learn more about the village's future and discuss issues affecting them at a meeting next week.

Congresbury Parish Council will host its annual parish meeting at the Old School Rooms, in Station Road, on May 10 at 7.30pm.

Representatives from Bristol Airport will be on hand to give a presentation on its expansion plans.

The parish council is set to give an update on the progress of its neighbourhood plan, which will establish development principles and areas to be safeguarded from changes.

A presentation will also be given on the progress and future of Congresbury Community Library, which has been under the control of the parish council for a year.

The parish meeting will close with a question and answer session, where villagers will be able to quiz parish councillors on any issues arising in Congresbury.
