The Conservatives have retained control of North Somerset with Dr Liam Fox being re-elected as the constituency’s MP.
The 58-year-old former Cabinet member was chosen to represent North Somerset for the an eighth time, having been first elected in 1992.
He achieved 32,801 votes.
Labour's Hannah Young came second with 15,265 votes, ahead of Liberal Democrats' candidate Ash Cartman who won 11,051 votes.
Green Party candidate Philip Neve was voted for by 2,938 people.
Dr Fox's majority has increased from 17,103 to 17,536, despite polling about 800 votes fewer than in 2017.
The turnout was 77.68 per cent.
