A WESTON woman has written a cookbook to raise money to help alleviate poverty in Africa.
Mary Annegarn took a trip to The Gambia in 2005 and decided she wanted to make a difference.
Mary, who works in healthcare in the North Somerset Community Partnership team, started writing to celebrities and politicians, asking them to give a recipe for a cookbook to be sold to raise money.
Celebrity Food for Thought is now available to buy, containing 65 recipes from snacks and soups to main courses, desserts and baking, with contributions from celebs such as Dame Judi Dench.
