Could you support disabled people in Weston?

PUBLISHED: 18:00 31 July 2016

Two Weston-super-Mare care homes are appealing for volunteer drivers to help disabled people become more independent.

Birnbeck and Quantock Care Homes, which are both part of the Leonard Cheshire Disability group, need drivers to take people to do their shopping, socialise and pursue hobbies and interests in and around Weston.

Any prospective volunteers must have a full, clean driving licence and must be willing to provide two references and have a disclosure and barring (DBS) check carried out against them.

To find out more, contact volunteer co-ordinator Carol Faulkner at, or via 07710 916870.
