People living in a North Somerset village are being urged to become trustees of their community’s village hall.

A new constitution is being drawn up to serve Kingston Seymour’s village hall, in Ham Lane, as the existing arrangements are deemed to be outdated and ineffective.

A spokesman for the hall said: “The new constitution will comprise a new body – the Kingston Seymour Trust – which will be set up to run all activities within the hall, together with the existing Kingston Seymour Village Hall Charity which will continue to own the building.”

A meeting to approve the new constitution and discuss its arrangements will take place at the hall on January 26, at 7.30pm. Contact Helen Harris on 01275 876552 to find out more about becoming a trustee.
