YOUR prized pet could soon be featured in a charity calendar and become the centre picture for one of the months of the year.

Green Pastures Veterinary Centre has teamed up with the Mercury to run a calendar competition, giving readers the chance to vote for the cutest pet pictures.

Green Pastures is asking owners to enter pictures of their pet which will be displayed in their reception until the closing date on September 30.

All entries will then be sent to the Mercury and readers will get to decide the 12 winners.

The centre is running the competition to support Secret World Wildlife Centre in East Huntspill as it has helped Green Pastures over the years by providing knowledge and support with wildlife cases and rehabilitating animals.

The centre is therefore asking for a donation of 50p per submitted photo.

A variety of animals pictures will be welcomes from hamsters to horses but the centre can only accept hard copies.

All winners will be given a free calendar, and entrants simply have to include their contact details on the reverse of all photos.

Post or drop your pictures in to Green Pastures Veterinary Centre, Moor Lane, Weston, BS24 7LA.
